The Winkler Community Foundation is a charitable organization that provides ongoing support for other local non-profit and charitable organizations in Winkler and surrounding area. The income earned by these funds is used to give grants to a wide range of community groups, while the original investment is left to grow generating more funds for future grants.

Foundation Funds

Community Fund Supports general granting programs.
Youth In Philanthropy Fund Supports teaching youth about philanthropy through identifying community needs, fundraising and granting funds to local organizations.
Dr C.W. Wiebe Medical Fund Supports the purchase of medical equipment.
Winkler Fire Rescue Fund Supports Fire Rescue education, training, scholarships and equipment.
General Operating Fund Supports the administration expenses of the WCF.
Katie Cares Fund Supports Youth and Cancer related projects. Directed by the Katie Cares Foundation Board of Directors.
Gateway Resources Fund Supports Gateway Resources; providing enhanced services to people with intellectual disabilities.
2014 Manitoba Winter Games Sport Legacy Fund Supports the promotion and enhancement of sport leadership and/or sport development.
Gorden Wiebe Scholarship Fund Supports education scholarships for young people pursuing secondary education.
Kalansky Family Fund Donor advised fund; supporting community projects important to donor.
MAP Fund Donor advised fund; supporting community projects important to donor.
