Mission
The MAF is a philanthropic organization, primarily managing a permanent collection of endowed funds, the earnings of which are used for the long term benefit of the community.
Description
The Morden Area Foundation serves as a partner for people to establish permanent, yet flexible ways to fund current and future charitable gifts. Since its inception in 1993, the foundation has allocated more than $1,000,000 to over 60 organizations, to assist them in their efforts to improve Morden’s quality of life.

Scholarship endowment funds | Numerous endowment funds totaling over $210,000, supporting annual awards to outstanding Morden area students |
United Way Agency Endowment Fund | Allowing the United Way to retain capital and grant earnings from a large bequest. |
Menzies Family Fund | 1 of MAF’s 4 family / community funds, bringing together past donations by the family of Dr. Jim Menzies, and a 2013 bequest from Dr. Jim’s estate |
Women’s Giving Circle endowment | Women reaching out to help one another and support a common cause |
